Getting Started

Etsy Email Saver is a browser extension designed for Etsy sellers that automatically extracts customer email addresses and other order information from your Etsy order pages, saving you time and helping you build your customer email list effortlessly.

Installing Etsy Email Saver is easy and takes just a few moments:

For Chrome:

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for "Etsy Email Saver"
  2. Click the "Add to Chrome" button
  3. Confirm the installation when prompted
  4. Once installed, sign in to your account on our website to activate your subscription

For Microsoft Edge:

  1. Visit the Edge Add-ons store and search for "Etsy Email Saver"
  2. Click the "Get" button
  3. Select "Add extension" when prompted
  4. Log in to your account on our website to activate your subscription

Browser Compatibility:

  • Our Chrome extension also works with Opera and Brave browsers
  • Firefox extension is currently under development and not yet available
  • For optimal performance, we recommend using Chrome or Edge

Subscription & Billing

We currently offer a Premium subscription plan at $9.99 per month, which includes:

  • Unlimited email collection
  • Local browser storage for your data
  • Organization of emails into separate lists
  • Advanced filtering options
  • Bulk export capabilities
  • CSV export format
  • Priority customer support

You can cancel your subscription at any time by:

  1. Logging into your account
  2. Navigating to the "Subscription" section in your dashboard
  3. Clicking on "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Following the confirmation prompts

Your subscription will end immediately. No partial or prorated refunds will be given.

Using the Extension

The extension gives you complete control over email collection. When viewing an Etsy order page, simply click the collection button in the extension to capture the customer's email address and relevant order details. You can filter which emails to collect during this process. All data is stored securely in your browser and can be easily organized, categorized, and exported when needed.

To export your collected emails:

  1. Open the extension popup by clicking the Etsy Email Saver icon in your browser
  2. Click on the "View Lists" button
  3. Find the list you wish to export and click on the export icon
  4. Alternatively click the "Export All" button at the top to export all your lists
  5. Save the file to your preferred location

Yes, our Premium plan allows you to create and manage multiple email lists. You can:

  • Create custom lists for different products or campaigns
  • Use filters to control which emails go into each list
  • Search and sort your lists to find just the one you're looking for
  • Export individual lists separately
  • Export all your lists at once in one file

Collection limits depend on your plan:

  • Free Plan: Limited to 10 email addresses per month
  • Premium Plan: Unlimited email collection

The Free Plan counter resets at the beginning of each month. Keep in mind that browser storage has technical limitations, so we recommend regularly exporting your data, especially with large collections.

Data & Privacy

Your collected email addresses and customer data are stored locally in your browser. This means:

  • The data remains on your device
  • We don't sell your data
  • We recommend regular exports as backup for your data

As an Etsy seller, you already have access to your customers' email addresses through your order pages. Our extension simply automates the collection process. However, you should:

  • Always follow Etsy's Terms of Service
  • Respect customer privacy and data protection laws like GDPR and CAN-SPAM
  • Provide opt-out options in your marketing communications
  • Use collected emails only for legitimate business purposes related to your Etsy shop

We recommend consulting with a legal professional regarding your specific email marketing practices.

Yes. Since all data is stored locally in your browser, uninstalling the extension will delete all collected emails. We strongly recommend:

  • Exporting your data regularly as a backup
  • Exporting all lists before uninstalling or upgrading the extension
  • Keeping exported files in a secure location

Even with a Premium subscription, your data is stored locally, so always maintain backups of important customer information.

Troubleshooting

If the extension isn't working correctly, try these steps:

  1. Make sure you're signed in to your Etsy account
  2. Verify your subscription is active in your dashboard
  3. Disable and re-enable the extension
  4. Clear your browser cache
  5. Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave)
